DECO Clay is a special kind of Soft Clay, formulated by Kazuko Miyai of Japan. She is the pioneer of this wonderful craft. Sensei Miyai, started the DECO Clay Craft Academy more than 25 years back. Her legacy is being carried on by Yukiko Miyai, in the USA.

Yukiko is my teacher in more ways than one. From her, apart from the craft, I learn patience and the art of smiling even at the end of a tiring day.

As for myself, I am a certified instructor now and am glad to be able to share this beautiful art with more people. And I still attend Yukiko's classes. A lot of people ask me why, despite being an instructor, I still attend classes. Well, I am an Indian and in our tradition, we accord our Guru the same respect as our parents. And as from our parents, so from our Guru there is always something more to learn. It is a never-ending process.

Through this website of mine, I hope to share with you, a little bit of me. So, there is a link to my creations (gallery), a link to general writeup about me (about), a link to my blog - a place where I sometimes pen my thoughts and a link to some of my friends' websites and/or blogs. Also, there is an Online Store - My creations are now available for sale. Though the store currently lists bigger arrangements, I will soon be adding smaller arrangements too.
